Rules and Regulations

  1. A minimum of consideration and etiquette is expected from all players: – Please wear proper tennis clothes and shoes. – Brush off and remove tennis shoes before entering locker rooms. – When entering and leaving the court, please use nearest exit and avoid disturbing the people playing on neighbouring courts.
  2. During the week, the courts are watered automatically during and on very dry days by the groundsmen as required. In your own interest, please exercise common sense and judgement on when to resume play after rain showers. Our caretaker, Tony McCormick and/or available members of the Tennis Club Committee are responsible for opening and closing of the courts in case of poor weather conditions.
  3. Members are requested to brush the courts after each session played and before their time is up. It is not necessary to brush the lines.
  4. We regret that children cannot be admitted to the tennis courts or the immediate vicinity, unless they qualify as junior members.
  5. Please also observe the rules for the use of the pool area posted separately in the Clubhouse.
  6. In general the statutes of the Tennis Club apply where no other supplementary instructions are issued. If you have questions or suggestions on how to improve our operation, please don’t keep them to yourself but refer them to a member of the Club Committee.
